1. Fully Local Architecture
NotionManager is designed with a privacy-first, local-only architecture. We do not operate any centralized servers to process, view, or store your Notion backup data. All backup operations, data processing, and storage occur entirely on your local machine.
2. Data Storage
Your Notion data is backed up to directories you specify on your local file system. We do not have access to these files. It is your responsibility to secure the physical device and any secondary backups you create from the local repository.
To further support cold backup strategies, NotionManager provides full profile export and import functionality. This allows you to securely package and transfer your entire configuration and backup state to external offline storage devices.
3. External Communications
The NotionManager application communicates with external servers only for the following purposes:
- Notion API: To fetch your workspace data during the backup process. This is done directly between your machine and Notion's servers using your authorized credentials.
- License Verification: To verify your purchased license for premium features.
- App Updates: To occasionally check for software updates (this can be disabled in settings).
4. Telemetry and Analytics
We do not collect usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports automatically. NotionManager operates in a strict offline mode regarding your usage habits.
5. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through our secure third-party provider. We do not store or process your credit card information. Please refer to our payment provider's Privacy Policy for details on how your payment information is handled.
