Notion to PDF, exactly as it looks on screen

Paste a public Notion page, adjust the paper, check the preview, export. The PDF is printed from the page you are looking at — same tables, same column widths, same page breaks — not rebuilt from a settings dialog.

Nothing loaded yet

Paste a published Notion page above, or open the sample to see how wide tables and toggles come out.

What makes the export match

Most Notion exporters flatten the page into an approximation. This one prints the page itself, which is why these four things behave the way they do on screen.

Wide tables stay readable

Column widths are the ones Notion computed, not equal fractions of the paper. A table wider than the page is scaled down as a whole, with the ratio shown, so a 23-column database stays legible instead of collapsing to one character per line.

Page breaks never cut a row

Breaks follow Chromium’s own rules: a row, an image or a code block that would be split is pushed whole to the next page, and a table that spans pages repeats its header at the top of each one.

Toggles print as you left them

Open a collapsed block in the preview and it is open in the PDF. The export reads the live DOM, so the expanded state has one home instead of being replayed from a parameter that can fall out of step.

The view you picked, not the default

Click any database view tab in the preview. Rows, filters and sort follow, and the page count is recalculated before you export.

Tables and page breaks, in detail

Almost every disappointing Notion to PDF export fails in the same two places: the table, and the page break. Both are decided while the page is laid out, before a single byte of the file is written.

Column widths stay the ones Notion computed

A Notion table stores a width per column, worked out from what you put in it. Converters that re-flow the page into a print grid throw those widths away and divide the paper evenly, which is why a table with one long sentence on the left comes back as a one-character column and a stack of hyphens.

This tool measures the table as the browser laid it out. Columns print at the width Notion gave them, and only a table wider than the paper is scaled down, as a single block with the ratio shown above the preview. A 23-column database stays legible, and you can still switch to A3 landscape for the full-size copy.

A row is never cut in half

Breaks follow the rules Chromium itself uses when printing: a table row, an image, a code block, a callout and a quote are atomic. When a break would land inside one, the whole block moves to the next page rather than being sliced with the remainder left hanging above.

A table long enough to span pages repeats its header row at the top of every page, and a heading is never stranded at the bottom: it travels down with the block it introduces. The preview draws exactly those breaks as dashed lines, so the page count you see is the page count you get.

Where it stops

  • The page has to be published to the web. A private page cannot be read without a token, and this tool never asks for one.
  • A page whose sheet exceeds about 3.8 MB is refused. That is a wall of content, not a document.
  • Fonts load from Google Fonts so Chinese, Japanese and Korean render on the server. If that request is blocked, a system face is used instead and the metrics shift slightly.

Notion to PDF questions

What people ask before and after their first export.

How do I turn a Notion page into a PDF?
Paste the page’s public URL, choose a paper size and press Generate PDF. The tool loads the page and prints it exactly as the preview shows it — it does not rebuild the content from a template, and nothing has to be pasted into a word processor first.
Why does my Notion table get cut off or squeezed in the PDF?
Most converters re-flow the table into a fixed page grid, so columns are narrowed and rows are sliced. This one prints the table at the column widths Notion computed. A table wider than the paper is scaled down as a whole, and the ratio is shown above the preview so you can switch to A3 or landscape instead.
Can I export a Notion database view to PDF?
Yes. A database is printed as the table you are looking at, including the view you picked: switch tabs in the preview and the rows, filters and sort follow, then export. A wide database keeps its columns on A4 landscape or on an adaptive sheet.
Will a table row be split across two pages?
No. Rows, images, code blocks, callouts and quotes are atomic — if a page break would cut one, it is pushed whole to the next page. A table that spans several pages repeats its header row at the top of each one, and a heading never stays behind alone at the bottom of a page.
Does the export keep toggles, callouts and multi-column layouts?
Yes. The PDF is printed from the live preview, so a toggle you expanded is expanded in the file and a callout keeps its colour. Whatever you arrange in the preview is what gets printed.
Is this Notion to PDF converter free? Do I need an account?
It is free and needs no account. Only pages published to the web can be read — a private page requires a token, and this tool never asks for one. To export private pages, NotionManager does it offline from your own disk.

Want this offline, for the whole workspace?

NotionManager backs up a workspace to your own disk and exports any page — including private ones — without a browser in the loop.
